Blocks


EXIT BLOCK Leads internal halyards or other lines out of mast, boom, or spinnaker pole.

CHEEK BLOCK For turning sheets and halyards. Mount on spars with curved plate, or on deck with flat plate.

FAIRLEAD BLOCK For genoa sheets and halyards. Mount on sliding track and use with turning block for genoa sheets.

TURNING BLOCK (Foot Block) For turning spinnaker and genoa sheets, and reducing load on fairlead block.

SWIVEL FAIRLEAD BLOCK Swivels and tilts in all directions to accommodate sheets or lines without touching deck. Slide or fixed mount.

FIDDLE BLOCK For multi-part systems: mainsheets,boom vangs. Two or more sheaves. Snap shackle, cam cleat, and becket optional.

MULTI-LINE CHEEK BLOCKS A low-profile deck organizer for leading two to six lines aft.



Block Components

SNAP SHACKLE Can be easily moved from place to place. Instant disengagement.

FRONT OR SIDE SHACKLE Used where line or sheet angle is reasonably constant.

SWIVEL SHACKLE Used where line or sheet angle varies. Allows block to pivot.

UPSET SHACKLE Used where the vang will only accept a shackle pin.

SLIDE Used where block is mounted on track for rapid fore and aft or athwartship adjustment.

BECKET Used to dead-end a line on the block in multipart systems.

SPRING MOUNTS Keeps block upright while still allowing it to tilt.
