The UTStarcom Quickfire for AT&T shares its basic design element with the hugely popular Sidekick; the large touchscreen QVGA display slides out to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard perfect for heavy messaging. In addition, the Quickfire packs in a 1.3-MP camera, MP3 player, microSD slot for additional memory, GPS, and a capable speakerphone. There are two major, authorized, online cell phone retailers, LetsTalk and WireFly. Both are reputable and safe to order your new phone through.

Both of these stores offer much better deals than you would find at the carrier's own websites and stores. The savings will be in the up front costs, as the monthly price of the cell phone plan will be the same no matter where you purchase it from.

Sometimes these deals will require the addition of a data plan subscription, which many people would get anyway. If you don't need the data plan, you can discontinue it after six months and you will still come out ahead on the overall price.

The UTStarcom Quickfire Green is Free with a new AT&T plan at WireFly, and is available at a same or lesser discount with a plan renewal.
